Humboldt is the northernmost campus in the California State University system. It is located in the city of Arcata, 270 miles north of San Francisco, situated between redwood groves and the Pacific Ocean. Enrollment is approximately 7,300. Humboldt is a fully accredited university, featuring 44 baccalaureate and 9 master's programs in the liberal arts and sciences with numerous options and concentrations. The Campus has a friendly, informal environment and a tradition of high academic standards and close student/faculty relations. Humboldt is large enough to offer much of the curricular range and richness of larger institutions, yet small enough to preserve the personal qualities of fine liberal arts colleges. | HUMBOLDT STATE UNIVERSITY | ||||||||||||||||
