CSU SACRAMENTO
|
California State University, Sacramento offers students a wide variety of strong
academic programs in small classes taught by full time professors. In spring 1998,
the University concluded a year-long celebration of its 50th Anniversary, and concurrently
successfully completed a major $50 million fund-raising campaign that will bring many
benefits to students in the opening years of the 21st century - including new
computer labs and new scholarships. In the summer of the year 2000, CSUS will host
the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials.
Located in the state's Capital city, the campus is adjacent to the historic
American River. Students have access to miles of bike and walking trails in a parkway
stretching along the river side of the campus. Sacramento is in the heart of
government operations for the state and CSUS students can take full advantage of the
research, internships and employment opportunities offered in this arena. The area
has an impressive and spirited history, and for 50 years CSUS has been a part of the
region's heritage.
